<h3>Ingredients list:</h3>1/2 cup butter, room temperature.<br />
<br />
1 cup granulated sugar.<br />
<br />
2 large eggs.<br />
<br />
2 large apples, ripe, cooked and mashed<br />

1 teaspoon vanilla extract.<br />
<br />
2 cups all-purpose flour.<br />
<br />
1 teaspoon salt.<br />
<br />
1 teaspoon baking powder.<br />
<h3>Instructions:</h3>Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.<br />
<br />
Cream butter and sugar with an electric hand-held mixer until light and fluffy.<br />
<br />
Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. <br />
<br />
Add apples and vanilla and beat until smooth.<br />
<br />
Mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. <br />
<br />
Stir flour mixture into butter mixture, alternating with the sour milk or buttermilk. <br />
<br />
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened then gently stir in chopped nuts.<br />

Whip the egg yokes and the egg whites and mix together with the dough. Mix the flower and cocoa together with the toasted almonds. Butter the cooking pan and place the dough in the preheated oven for 35min at 175 Celsius. Let it cool off. Moisturize the jell-O. Boil the blackberry jam and heat up the Jell-O. Leave this cooling off. Withdraw the cake from the mold and cover it in jam. On top of this place all of your berries, and make a second layer with the rest of your jell-o jam. This cake must cool off in the freezer for 1hr.</span></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />

Ingredients:<br />
2 (18 ounce) boxes devil's food cake mix <br />
4 eggs, beaten well <br />
2/3 cup oil <br />
1/2 cup butter <br />
4 ounces cream cheese <br />
2 cups powdered sugar <br />
1/2 teaspoon vanilla <br />
<br />
Directions:<br />
1. Mix eggs, cake mix, and oil together well.<br />
2. Shape into gumball sizes balls.<br />
3. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.<br />
<br />
Inside Cream Filling:<br />
1. Mix butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together.<br />
2. When cookies are completely cool frost the flat side of one cookie, place another cookie on top of the frosting (flat side to flat side).<br />

Add milk and vanilla; beat until blended. Add remaining powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating until incorporated. Turn mixer to high speed and beat frosting until fluffy and smooth.<br />
Coffee frosting: Replace milk and vanilla with 4 teaspoons instant espresso powder dissolved in 3 tablespoons hot water, then cooled.<br />
Lemon frosting: Replace milk with 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and vanilla with 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel.<br />
Mint frosting: Replace vanilla with 4 teaspoons crème de menthe or 1 teaspoon mint extract and 2 or 3 drops green food coloring, if desired.<br />
Orange frosting: Replace milk with 2 tablespoons orange juice, and vanilla with 2 teaspoons grated orange peel.<br />

Chocolate curls, ruffles, and leaves are impressive and decadent-seeming decorations. Chocolate curls can be made with a vegetable peeler by simply shaving off pieces from a large chocolate block. Warm the chocolate slightly by rubbing the palm of your hand over the surface a few times. (For best results, use a thick baker's block of chocolate, not a thin candy bar-sized one.) <br />
For large curls and ruffles, spread melted chocolate in a thin layer over a marble slab or the back of a clean baking sheet. Let the chocolate cool until set but not completely hard, and then scrape using a knife, spoon, or spatula (a clean 4-inch putty knife from a hardware store works well) depending on the size and the shape of the curl/ruffle you want. Experiment!<br />
<h2>Chocolate Leaves</h2><br />

For piped frosting decorations, practice makes perfect! If you're new to cake decorating, buy a set of inexpensive decorating tips from a craft store or supermarket and a can of smooth icing. Use a flat dinner plate or a cookie sheet to practice piping "<em>Happy Birthday</em>" or your desired message. (Script may be easier for beginners than printing.) Play around with star tips to create rosettes and decorative borders; use plain tips for scribing messages or piping pearls. If this is something you enjoy, you may wish to move on to roses, daisies and other more challenging designs.<br />
For string work, lacy Cornelli designs, and other very fine piping work, you will need a smaller opening than commercial decorating tips provide. 4. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans, and cool completely on wire racks.<br />
5. Spread Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting in between layers and on top and sides of cake. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries, if desired.<br />

<strong>Ingredients:</strong><br />
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar<br />
1 cup flour<br />
1 1/2 cups egg whites (12)<br />
1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar<br />
1 cup granulated sugar<br />
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract<br />
1/2 teaspoons almond extract<br />
1/4 teaspoon salt<br />

<strong>Directions:</strong><br />
1. Place oven rack in lowest position. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.<br />
2. Mix powdered sugar and flour; set aside. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until foamy.<br />
3. Beat in granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, with mixer on high, add vanilla, almond extract and salt with the last of sugar.<br />
4. Beat until stiff and glossy meringue forms. Do not under-beat.<br />
5. Sprinkle sugar-flour mixture, 1/4 cup at a time, over meringue, folding in just until sugar-flour mixture disappears. Push batter into ungreased angel food cake pan (tube pan), 10x4 inches. Cut gently through batter with metal spatula.<br />
6. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until cracks feel dry and top springs back when touched lightly. Immediately turn pan upside down onto heat resistant funnel or bottle.<br />
7. Let hang about 2 hours or until cake is completely cool. Loosen sides with knife or long spatula and remove from pan.<br />

1/2 teaspoon baking powder <br />
1/2 teaspoon salt <br />
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract<br />

<strong>Chocolate Cake Directions:</strong><br />

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour three 9-inch cake pans.<br />
2. In a medium bowl, stir the boiling water into the cocoa until smooth, and set aside.<br />
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt, and set aside.<br />
4. At medium speed of an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar for 4 to 5 minutes.<br />
5. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.<br />
6. Turn mixer down to low speed. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the cocoa mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.<br />
7. Stir in the vanilla, and do not over-beat.<br />
8. Pour an equal amount of batter into each of the three prepared pans.<br />
9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.<br />
10 Cool in pans set on racks for 10 minutes. Invert pans on racks, remove pans, and allow layers to cool completely before frosting.<br />

In a medium bowl, whisk together confectioners' sugar and ground almonds. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip egg whites with salt on medium speed until foamy. Increase speed to high and gradually add granulated sugar. Continue to whip until stiff glossy peaks form. With a rubber spatula, gently fold in the confectioners' sugar mixture until completely incorporated.</span></span> </span></li>

Their tops are easily crushed, so take care when removing the macaroons from the parchment. Use immediately or store in an airtight container, refrigerated for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.</span></span> </span></li>

• Cut the basic structure templates for your house from posterboard and test first by taping the pieces together. If it will stand as made out of posterboard, then most likely it will be structurally safe for your gingerbread house. <br />

• Do not limit yourself to a plain box house. You can make virtually any shape, from igloo to Victorian to farmhouse. Or, use a loaf mold in the shape of a house to eliminate the construction steps.<br />

• Prepare a base for your house. Use a piece of plywood covered with foil, a large heavy platter or baking tray. You will want to be able to move the entire structure easily. You can use a sheet of gingerbread on top of the base if you wish, but it is not necessary.<br />
<br />
• Keep in mind that the dimensions of your gingerbread house will be restricted to the size of a 12-by 15-inch baking sheet, and cut your templates accordingly. <br />
<br />
• Maximum thickness for dough should be 3/8-inch. For houses larger than 6 inches square, use 1/4-inch thickness and for smaller houses, use 1/8-inch. Weight-bearing walls should be just slightly thicker. <br />
<br />
• If you want the walls covered in <a href="http://homecooking.about.com/od/cookierecipes/r/blcookie111.htm"><span style="color: #3366cc;"><strong>icing</strong></span></a>, you may need to thin the icing with a few drops of water and then spread gently on the sides before assembling. Let sit for the icing to dry.<br />

• When assembling, apply the "glue" icing using a pastry bag, and let sit for 30 minutes to set before actually assembling. This will help the pieces adhere better, resulting in a more stable structure. <br />
<br />
• When assembling, apply a generous (but not dripping) amount of <a href="http://homecooking.about.com/od/cookierecipes/r/blcookie111.htm"><span style="color: #3366cc;"><strong>icing glue</strong></span></a> to one side of the joint. Press un-iced piece to the iced edge and hold briefly until the icing sets. If you want more stability, you can also icing-glue the walls to the base. <br />

• For the icing decoration, use a pastry bag with various decorating tips or a knife. You can easily fill in gaps and smooth construction errors with icing and candy decorations. Wipe off smudges or drips with a clean, damp paper towel.<br />
<br />
• To apply <a href="http://homecooking.about.com/od/specificdishes/a/gingerhousestor.htm"><span style="color: #3366cc;"><strong>candy decorations</strong></span></a>, dab a small amount of icing to the underside of the candy and hold in place until set. <br />
<br />
• You can use dough scraps to roll out added decorative cut-outs to be applied with icing glue. These cutouts can be impressed with designs before baking.<br />
<br />
• If you do not have time to do the baking, you can use cardboard or <a href="http://homecooking.about.com/cs/specificfood/a/graham.htm"><span style="color: #3366cc;"><strong>graham</strong></span></a> crackers and still show off your decorating skills. <br />
